BSD -TD Automatic True Density & Porosity Analyzer

The BSD-TD Automatic True Density & Porosity Analyzer is a highly precise instrument designed for measuring true density, open porosity, and closed porosity of a wide range of solid samples. With an accuracy of better than ±0.03% and a repeatability of better than ±0.015%, it provides reliable and precise results, with a resolution of 0.0001 g/ml. The analyzer offers fast testing, completing a single station test in just 0.5 to 1 minute, and doubles its efficiency with two analysis stations.Suitable for a variety of sample types—such as powders, granules, blocks, foams, slurries, and non-volatile liquids—the BSD-TD's test method utilizes a high-volume, direct-sample test cavity, enhancing accuracy by optimizing sample volume utilization. The "bottom-loading bayonet-type" sample pool accommodates larger samples, further improving test precision. Additionally, the system features a fully automatic constant temperature mode with a temperature accuracy error of less than 0.1°C, ensuring consistent environmental conditions for accurate results.

Bottom Loading Sample Pool as Test Cavity

The BSD-TD utilizes a bottom-loading design where the sample pool is directly used as the test cavity, improving volume utilization and enhancing test accuracy. This design eliminates the need for a separate test cavity barrel and features a fast loading and various sample pool that easily accommodates both micro- and large-volume samples, also different shapes, offering greater flexibility and precision.

Inner Square Sample Pool for Improved Accuracy

The BSD-TD is equipped with an inner square sample pool, specifically designed for rectangular samples. This unique design provides higher sample pool utilization—over 80% for rectangular samples—compared to the standard cylindrical sample pools, which only achieve about 15% utilization as per GB/T 10799-2008. The square shape also makes it easier to handle and cut rectangular samples, improving test accuracy and efficiency.

Advanced Temperature Control to enhance test accuracy and stability.

It features a gas source pre-constant temperature tube that pre-conditions the test gas to the desired temperature before it enters the reference chamber, ensuring consistent gas temperature. The system also uses a non-heating gas control valve driven by compressed air, eliminating the heat generated by traditional solenoid valves and improving temperature stability. Additionally, a constant temperature bath with a built-in convection fan maintains stable test conditions, even below room temperature, optimizing heat exchange efficiency for precise, reliable measurements.
